Mubende Well Project

Build a well in Mubende Uganda

This project will build a well in Nkandwa A Lc1 in Nkandla parish Kibalinga sub county Mubende district Uganda Africa.

The people of Nkandwa fetch water at the swamp called Kachwamango swamp. It is 7km (a little over 4 miles) from Nkandwa to the swamp where the community gets water.

The animals in the area also access that water, which makes it very unsafe for human consumption.

Nkandwa contains about 450 homes and approximately 1,000 people would be serviced by this well.

This community has two schools, Bethel Infants Primary School and Kyakasimbi Primary School that will be serviced by this well.

They also have a trading center (market) called Kabirizi Trading Centre that would also be serviced by this well.

The well will be a “Bore Hole” well and will cost approximately $4,383 USD to build.
